This is another important milestone for our team as we continue preparing Montabi for its upcoming launch on August 6, 2026.
For Steam Next Fest, we’re bringing our most polished demo version yet, featuring new content, improvements, and refinements based on feedback from our amazing community.
What’s New in the Demo?
Since our previous demo, we’ve continued working on improving the Montabi experience, from adding new content to refining gameplay systems.
The Steam Next Fest demo includes:
New Area: Subway Station
Explore a brand-new area filled with new challenges and encounters. The Subway Station expands the world of Montabi and gives players a new environment to experience during their runs.
New Room: Stickards
We’re introducing a new room type called Stickards, adding more variety and strategic choices throughout your adventure.
New Montabi: Kaibug
Meet Kaibug, a new creature joining the Montabi roster. Like every Montabi, Kaibug brings its own identity, abilities, and playstyle to your team. Use armor as a damage.
New Language Support
We’re also expanding accessibility with additional language support:
- Traditional Chinese
- German
- French
- Korean
And many more improvements across the game, including balancing updates, quality-of-life improvements, and refinements based on player feedback.
